San Pedro opened in 2024 following the success of sister restaurant Santiago in the spa town of Buxton. Family-run San Pedro follows the same ethos as Santiago, advocating an authentic experience of good Spanish cuisine. Our menu promotes social dining, meaning our 28 tapa/ration dishes are served when they are ready to be enjoyed at their freshest and shared between the table.
As a family, we have holidayed in Spain for over 20 years, in a small town called San Pedro Del Pintar, 40 minutes south of Alicante. We have always been welcomed by the local people, and when we visit our villa, it is simply our second home, making many amigos along the way. Hence, there was only one name for our next Spanish venture. San Pedro has allowed us to open our Spanish offering not only as a standard restaurant but to larger groups and even private hire, as the Spanish know how to hold a fiesta. As a family, we want to welcome other families into our restaurant and hope many more good memories can be made along the way. Our restaurant seats 58 on the ground and first floor, along with areas for drinking and nibbling. You will find San Pedro based in close proximity to the town centre, Buxton Opera House & the Crescent Hotel and Spa.
